Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken indoors at the dining room table shortly before enjoying the feast!

Time

Time of day was late morning.

Lighting

Natural lighting from nearby patio doors.

Equipment

This was taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge cell phone camera.

Inspiration

The waffles' color contrasted beautifully with the emerald green of the Fiesta ware plate. Their texture and pattern also complemented those of the butter and syrup!

Editing

I always enjoy doing a bit of post processing, and true to form, I did so here. One of my favorite Android apps is PicsArt, which I like for its ease of use and interesting effects. Here, I added a touch of the "Feast" effect, which seemed appropriate enough for the occasion! The waffle maker was a Father's Day gift, as well as the subsequent breakfast! The diet can wait... it was truly a "feast" fit for a king!

Always my cell phone, but other than that, my Panasonic Lumix GX8. 100-400 Pana Leica zoom; 35-100 Panasonic; 45mm Pana Leica macro; 12-35 Pana Leica.
