Driving home we stopped at a strawberry stand and I told the children we could make jam. But all I could think about on the drive home was getting one of them to lay in a box and dumping strawberries in the box on top of them to take photos ????

Location
It was taken on my back deck. I cut one side out of a box and got my son to lay down with his head in the box. I dumped strawberries in the box surrounding his face and took the image while standing directly above him.Time

I was driving home with my children and we had stopped at a strawberry stand and bought a flat of strawberries to make jam. The idea same to me during the drive home.Editing
Didn’t do much in post. Added to the contrast and enhanced the colour a little bit maybe.In my camera bag
Nikon Z7 with Sigma prime lenses. 50mm and 35mm most of the time unless free lensing. If I’m free lensing I have an old Nikon pancake lens from 1980 that I purchased off Ebay (Japan). It’s a treasure trove of well kept vintage camera gear.Feedback
Take your time and get a variety of expressions. If you can get the child to engage with silly faces (even if you know it’s not what you want) it will keep them interested until you get the shot you want.
