Location
This photo was taken in Baltimore, MD(USA)Time
This photo was taken during day time, like around 2 or 3pmLighting
I just used natural light.Equipment
This was shot with the Canon T7i, 18-55mm kit lens and handheld. (No tripod)Inspiration
I kept seen that lots of photographers take photos of train tracks which I thought were really nice and cool, so I wanted to have my own and shot by me.Editing
I just edited in lightroom, no photoshop or anything, just regular editing. In my camera bag
At the time when I took this photo I was using my then Canon T7i, 18-55mm and 75-300mm kit lenses and a Canon 50mm 1.8. I just upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 85mm 1.4, 50MM 1.4 and still have for now the 75-300MM.Feedback
I just felt that I wanted to go out and find something to shoot, I already had train tracks on my list but I did not go out specifically for that, so I just drove around for like 15 to 20 minutes until I got to this isolated place in the middle of nowhere, took my camera out, did my triangle settings, shot like 4 shots and this is one of them or my best from that day I would say. About kit lens, it's true that they don't compare to red rings or the expensive ones, but if you learn how to use your camera and your lens you can still get some good photos. I also would definitely recommend new photographers to follow some good photographers on you-tube and Instagram and also take some classes online, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without the class I've taken. I'm still learning and I'm basically new into this wonderful world of Photography.
