Has to be a b/w image Hood the abstract nature of the image demands that , fabulous image!

can never decide whether I like Calatrava in color or in black and white but in this case I choose black and white which captures all that extravagance, energy, and visual complexity. Terrific!

Congratulations on winning my Challenge! Beautiful contrast and a well composed image of famous architecture, well done.

Hopefully, you have taken this picture to the curator there, making it available to them. Sure there are not many ANY better.

Location
I took this photo in The City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia, Spain.Time
I took the photo mid afternoon, if I remember correctly.Lighting
I took a while to find what, in my opinion, was the best POV and wanted to capture the whole reflection of the building and sky in the water to the front of the image. I also liked the plane contrails in the skyEquipment
Nikon D5200 camera, Sigma 18-250mm lens, tripod and remote timer.Inspiration
The lighting, great architecture and the reflection in the water.Editing
Changed the image to B&W and a bit of contrast adjustment. In my camera bag
I usually carry my camera, lenses and cleaning equipment in my bag. Also spare batteries and remote timer.Feedback
The POV in my opinion makes this shot and the reflection. I took my time walking around and looking at the building from different angles. Finally the settings I used were: Camera: NIKON D5200 Aperture: 80/10 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 10/10000 Focal Length: 180/10 I used a tripod and timer. If you haven't been to Valencia - wow, it's worth a visit.
