Behind The Lens

Location

I'm a wildlife photographer living in Orlando, Florida, always looking for an opportunity to photograph the wonderful world of insects. I took this photo at Lake Lotus, after walking around for about an hour.

Time

Saw this beautiful caterpillar around 1pm, beginning of summer.

Lighting

As a wildlife photographer, I love improvising and making use of the natural light on my favor.

Equipment

I took this shot with a Canon EOS Rebel t5. The lens I used was a Canon EF-60mm macro.

Inspiration

I believe that the most beautiful things in life are right in front of our eyes but only those really looking for it can see them. The winderful world of insects is one of them. Insects have their own world right in the middle of ours. All we need to do is stop for a second and look around.

Editing

I use Lightroom to process my images. I try to keep it as natural as possible, but also show my subject beauty in the best way possible.

In my camera bag

I like to carry around my only camera, Canon EOS Rebel t5. Also find my 70-300mm f/4-5.6 super useful almost all the time. I also like to carry my Canon 60mm macro and a 18-55mm for any cityscape.
