Location
This shot was taken at the Devonian gardens in Edmonton Alberta, the hothouse was beautiful inside, but the achitechture can only truly be appreciated in the cold outside.Time
This is a great memory for me, I spent the day with my (now) wife. At the time we weren't dating but she had a great time going from photo location to location. This was sometime I think he afternoon. :)Lighting
I enjoy shooting sun stars, especially experimenting with different apertures.Equipment
This was taken with my canon t3i and my multi-purpose 80-200 lens. No external flash was used nor my tripod. (Although I did have it with me.)Inspiration
A full day of photography exploring a new city. Always a win.Editing
This shot is fairly unedited, only a bit of vibrancy boosting. In my camera bag
I typically travel light, with my canon 6D and extra batteries and memory cards. If I am going on a full dedicated shoot, I carry my tripod, 2 external speed lights, and various reflectors and lensesFeedback
Play around with different settings to create different sun stars. For example. A large aperture, (F22) will create a defined star with individual points. Whereas as small aperture (F2) will create a more full sun "ball"
