Behind The Lens

Ithaca NY.

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

It was a spontaneous shot. I took the photo mid summer and mid day. The light is bright and natural but I liked the shadows it produced and I felt the bright light went along with the brightness of her lovely bright flowered hat.

Equipment

Camera Canon 5D Mark III. Lens Canon EF 24-105mm 1:4L. Hand held.

Inspiration

I love street photography and photographing people. There are amazing stories to be told. The inspiration here was them ... her beautiful sun dress and flowered hat. The hand holding made it clear they were in love. The age told me that we never grow too old to be quirky and in love.

Editing

Not much editing.

In my camera bag

Always my Canon camera 5D and Canon lens 24-105. It's an easy go too. I do carry a flash, tripod and a few other Len's ... macro, portrait wide angle. Most of my photography is travel and street and abstract. I will us the macro for abstract.

Feedback

Be spontaneous. Look at a story it tell's and always be ready. Be contemplative and feel it.
