Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was take. At Sea World in Florida. He was such a cooperative subject!

Time

We started our day at the park in the late morning in hopes that it wouldn’t get too hot and we didn’t make it. This gentleman lives inside a cool beautiful exhibit full of amazing habitats.

Lighting

Lighting was definitely tricky since he was inside an aquarium. So I pulled in tight and bumped the ISO. Flash was not an option because he was behind glass.

Equipment

Canon 50D

Inspiration

I like to capture as much of our vacations as possible and an aquarium was the perfect new challenge

Editing

I bumped up the exposure in post processing a bit. But that’s it.

In my camera bag

Now a days I have a Canon 5D Mark IV and a canon 7D Mark II with my favorite lens 70-200 2.0. As well as a 50 1.4 and an 85-

Feedback

Be careful to not carry too much. When you are in a new climate that you are not used to having a heavy load can make for a really long day. But shoot away. You can never have too many photos.
