I love color and here you present many colors! I am glad the street is empty so I can see many other things that are going on in this photo like the shapes of the buildings, different heights, depth and much more! I love the bike! This photo although serene is busy and walks you through many areas. It keeps my eyes dancing.

Behind The Lens

Location

While on a river cruise through Germany, Austria and Hungary, I shot this after a walking tour in Regensgurgh Germany

Time

This was shot mid to late morning as our walking tour of the city started earlier that morning. There were a few people ahead of us that I had to wait on so I could capture this empty street. The colors of the buildings just popped!

Lighting

It was a bit overcast, so not a lot of shadows.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 5D with a Canon 24-70 lens. I was on a riverboat so I kept my lens size more compact.

Inspiration

I just spotted the scene with all the different colors settling on the grey cobblestones down the alley.

Editing

Since it was a bit overcast I brightened up the colors just a touch.

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I keep several lenses to be ready for most any shot.
