I took this photo at the studio available to me at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University)Time
I took this photograph in the afternoon I shot it in the studio so I didn't rely on natural lightLighting
I used two Broncolor polso studio flashes with p-70s and gridsEquipment
Canon 6d, 24-70 f/2.8, broncolor studio kit and manfrotto tripod, patterned backdrop, black acrylic for foreground and three glasses filled with waterInspiration
I was inspired to take this photograph by researching water refraction and wanting to create a piece of art within the photographEditing
I did very minimal post-processing just cleaning up the imageIn my camera bag
My weapon of choice is a canon 6d and 5d mkII, with a Canon 24-70 f/2.8 and a Canon 70-200 f/2.8Feedback
My advice is to attempt something that is different, push boundaries and make an image that makes people think. Always try something different, where that be with lighting, camera angles or subject matter. Strive to be different
