This photo was taken in Orangeville, Ontario CanadaTime
It was just before dusk.Lighting
It was a perfect day for a photo shoot. Not too sunny with perfect end of day lighting.. there is a reason they call that the golden hour.Equipment
I have a canon 7D and a 70-200m lensInspiration
Olivia has co-authored a book called May I be Excused, My Brian is Full. Olivia identifies as having Aspergers and shares her story with the world to help raise awarneness and help others that also identify as having Aspergers.Editing
Yes, I use photo shop and creativity adjust and make art using a keyboard, just as an artist selects her paints. In my camera bag
I am fairly low maintenance, two lenses 24-70 and my 70-200 and a light diffuser, but with a flashy camera strap :)Feedback
I think the trick is not to get too caught up in the details of technicality. Focus on creating an authentic portrait by working with your clients and adapting to their level of comfort and making the photo shoot so casual that they can be themselves. This is what I loved about this photo. Olivia relaxed and let her self go, and I caught the magic on camera.
