Location
This Photo was taken at North Wollongong Harbour in Australia 88km South of Sydney. The Fishing Boats come in after a hard Days work attracting the local Pelicans who feast on the fishermans scraps.Time
In the evening when the Pelicans finish dining with the local fisherman they return to their 4 white poles, 4 white Pelicans. Next to the poles is a pier that I stand on perfectly placed to catch them in flight as they return, then perched as the drift off to sleep.Lighting
The Sun sets over the Mountain behind the Pelican, the light as the sun sets changes every minute from brilliant Purples to vibrant warm oranges. The weather was looking stormy with a slight hint of Orange still coming over giving that look of Moody Darkness you may expect in a Storybook.Equipment
This Photo Was taken with a Canon 800D. 55mm-250mm Lense I believe.Inspiration
Photography is an escape for me, like meditation. You are calm and relaxed as you are seeking beautiful shots, your mind therefore is focused on beautiful thoughts, during my sessions all else is forgotten and hours will pass by. I live by the sea, I photograph the Animals, the people, the ocean, and anything that reaches out to me. This Pelican sitting on the pole with the moody condition was not a shot to be missed.Editing
Post processing is something I am learning about through trial and error. I Simply adjust thing until they appeal to me. Exact details I cannot say but I used adobe lightroom. In my camera bag

Simply look with your heart, look at the things not seen. Not just the landmarks.
