Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo is part of a Project called "Jazz-Café Woman Project". It started in 2012 in a Cocktail Bar in Frankfurt/Germany. https://www.facebook.com/Jazz.Cafe.Project

Time

During the Day the Bar is closed. Thats why it was possible for me to use it for shootings. I Stated at 11 am and it takes about 4 to 5 hours.

Lighting

The Bar is very dark so I need my own light but i also wanted to capture the tipical lightning caracter of a Bar.

Equipment

I work with a Sony Alpha 65, portable lights( 3x Yongnuo YN-560 II Speedlite), a Tamron 17-50mm Zoom, Sigma DC 70-300mm, different color Backgrounds.

Inspiration

I love classical and modern dance. I want to show the warm side of the dancer protected from the cooled outside

Editing

I do post prossessing of the colors and proportions of the Model. I also clean the outside.

In my camera bag

In my small bag I have only my Sony 65 with an extra battery and memory Card. Not more.

Feedback

The most difficult to get is the Location. If you have a good idea, you can convince the owner of a Location, a Model to help you realizing the Picture. The most important is the Idea!
