Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture during a school course : my model had to make-up and transform herself in a character. She paint the background and she had to pose as a Vicking Witch.

Time

It was during the end of the morning, about 11 ocloc'k. We were in studio

Lighting

It was a really simple model of light : a softbox in the middle with an 45 degree angle, a reflector and bam, magic began !

Equipment

I used a Nikon D750, my 24-120mm lens, somes Paul Buff flashes and a lot of magic with Photoshop! We took several pictures with cards in the air to try to get the pecfert shot. As it was really difficult, I use a little Photoshop to help me ;)

Inspiration

My model and the character she invent ! She helps me to get in her mood, she explains me all the detail she wanted to show, the vibe she felt.

Editing

I used Photoshop to replace the cards in this order, to get a beautifull circle around her face

In my camera bag

I used to alway have : my Nikon D750, a back-up camera (Nikon D610), a 50mmm lens, my favorite 24-120mm, an old 135 mm (with 1.8 apperture). I also do have a fractal lens, a light prism, a false plant, a reflector and a lot of memory cards !
