Daylilies grow in my yard every summer. They basically bloom one day and are done the next, hence the name.Time
I loved photographing them at all angles and time of day. This particular capture, I remember, caught my attention because they jetted out from all the others. It was taken during the day.Lighting
Mt lilies were always orange in color. Even though they come in others. Since it was summer and middle of the day, the green grass stood out as a nice background against the green. On this particular day the sky was a milky white, not blue at all.Equipment
To be honest I do not remember exactly which camera I used, since I have many. But I think it was a point and shoot Canon.Inspiration
I have always been inspired to capture flowers, one of my favorite subjects. Them and trees. I love the natural beauty in anything nature, which is most everywhere.Editing
Not that I remember. I might have been experimenting with raw photography. In my camera bag
I like to say, what do I normally have in my eye. I see picture potential in almost everything in life. You could say I am obsessive about photography. I am also very grateful In my heart for God’s wonder-filled world. Lately, truthfully, I usually have my smart phone handy, which takes pretty decent photos, too.Feedback
If you see something extra beautiful don’t hesitate for one moment to capture it. It could easily become one of your favorites.
