Location
At the peruvian rainforest, in the province of Oxapampa. Specifically in the Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park.Time
Middle afternoon. Between 4 and 5 pm.Lighting
The light is completely natural. I shoot that pic with my tele lens from 100 m. aprox. The lights and shadows are a product of the forest leaves and how they filter the sunlight.Equipment
Camera: Rebel T3i. Lens: Canon 75-300. Anything else.Inspiration
I love nature and birds. I was actually kind of depressed so I took the first bus one night from Lima city to Oxapampa. I got whorse there, so I just bought there a bus ticket to the deep of the forest. The bus left me in the entry of the National Park and there I meet a guard who guided me for some hours. I paid him some coins I had as a way to thank him. Some hours after we were walking down the forest, he told me about a beautiful bird watching us. Then I saw it, like 200 m. away. I started shooting, and finally after half hour this cute euphonia stand himself under that amazing sun ray.Editing
Contrast, clarity, lights, shadows, a bit of saturation. In my camera bag
Canon rebel T3i and my lens.Feedback
Just hear the nature. Watch the light. And try to get a teleobjetive.
