I took this picture during one of my trips to NYC randomly from one of my walks in the city.Time
An cloudy afternoon of september 2013 in the city of NYC. I love to play with the natural light there.Lighting
I used daylight without flashEquipment
This time, only my Fujifilm Finepix S 100 FS with Fujinon 14.3x Optical zoom lensInspiration
The inspiration of the moment. I walked past without daring to take the picture. 20 meters later I changed my mind and came back to them. Normally it's them who take pictures of tourists, it's their job, but I wanted to reverse the rules. I asked them if I could take a picture of them and when they hesitated, I took a dollar out of my pocket. We left in a big laugh and they accepted my proposal. I did not give them time to take a pose and I took a single photo, very quickly, to capture the natural expressions.Editing

Have the courage to photograph people and dare to ask them. Do not take too much time for the poses, take the pictures the most unexpected time, make sure that people are relaxed, talk with them for a while and try to capture their eyes, their emotions. Above all, respect them and never put them in an unfavorable situation. If possible, use ambient light and not flash. It's my way of working, everyone does as he feels better Have fun!!
