Location
This photo was taken on the way to the Scottish Highlands, between roads surrounded by colorful forests.Time
October was the time of our trip, a fantastic time to get to know the Scottish autumn.Lighting
The shot was very simple, it was only important not to burn the end point of the road to be able to give continuity to the photograph.Equipment
The equipment used was my companion Fuji X-T1 with an opening of f4.5 and speed 1/40 without filters.Inspiration
We passed through this road 2 times, and stopped expressly to make this fantastic photograph that reflects the colors of wet after a rainy afternoon.Editing
This photograph is edited with the techniques I currently use and the Luminar application. This application allows me a more strict control of shadows and lights, reflecting more accurate results with those I look for in this type of photographs giving priority to the elements that I want to highlight in the photographs. In my camera bag
Now Fuji XT-3 and XT-10. For the type of photography that I do, I always use a wide angle, in this case a 10-24mm, and I complement with a telephoto lens like the 55-200, although I prefer whenever I can use fixed optics such as 12mm f2.0 or 8mm f 2.8. A good selection of ND filters and gradients is always essential in the suitcase. Since the last year I have also taken my Mavic Pro 2 drone everywhere.Feedback
Scotland can offer you everything or nothing. Time is an important variable and you must learn to be patient and schedule your locations. If you get it, you will have great rewards with images like this.
