Our freedom is often hostage to cages that suffocate it well before it can collide with that of anyone else. Cages of pre-concepts, respectability and distorted truths drawn to floral elements.

Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Angera, a small village on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Italy, taking advantage of a liberty style railing of a building.Time
The square that houses this building is located in the center of the village, among several houses that do not let the sun go directly. To have a good light, I chose the early afternoon to take full advantage of the light and open my 50 Sigma Art lens to the limit of f 1.4.Lighting
I worked with only natural light, quite expanded by the fact that the sun does not reach the set directly. The whole construction of the shot assumed to be able to open the diaphragm to the maximum, so I chose the moment when I could have the maximum of light in that particular place.Equipment
The camera was my faithful Nikon D750 equipped with Sigma Art 1.4 50mm lens. Nothing more.Inspiration
I was looking for a way to represent the model as imprisoned between bars, when I noticed the double handrail of a wrought iron staircase that seemed perfect. It was only a matter of choosing whether to keep everything in focus or to blur the iron bars in front of and behind the model. I chose the second one.Editing
Even in photocompositions my post production is never very elaborate, I try to get the most out of the shot. As always, a small adjustment of brightness, contrast and highlights allows you to adapt in the best way the shot for viewing on screen or, with different parameters, for printing. In my camera bag
When shooting outdoors I always know what I will do and how I want to shoot, so if it is shooting in extreme conditions my camera is my old trusted Nikon D7000, but if the conditions are normal I bring with me the Nikon D750 working with better definition in full frame format. For the lenses, if I am not able to accurately predict the focal aid me 24-120 1: 4 Nikon, but as soon as I can mount the 50mm Sigma Art 1: 4 or 30 1: 4 always Sigma Art. Often harbor trigger and flash, with an amber jelly available.Feedback
As you can see is a shot with focus on a subject behind a fifth. Take time to focus, preferably in manual mode. The automatic could work continuously and distract you from seizing the right moment to shoot. For such a big blur you also need a depth of field, so try to reduce the distance to the subject and use the maximum aperture that allows your lens.
