Location
This photo was taken in a local regional park in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. It leads across a pond onto the famous Trans-Canada Trail.Time
I believe it was late morning.Lighting
It was a grey cloudy morning and the untouched snow seemed to really stand out.Equipment
My camera is a Sony A35. Set on Auto and point and shoot. Nothing else.Inspiration
Because it was overcast and grey, the untouched snow was so white and clean. The curve of the walkway over a partially frozen pond was beautiful. We were the only ones out on the trail and it was eerily quiet.Editing
No I do not.In my camera bag
I only own and carry my Sony A35 with me.Feedback
This is a rare moment in our area. Snow comes infrequently and doesn't often stay long. To see it fresh and untouched was magical. Look for those moments of aloneness in the woods.
