Love it, the light and the choice of color and material, blends in so elegantly with the sheets and curtains. Her pose and facial expression, wonderful, really nice.

Location
I took this image in our beautiful Models home an old Post office in Bedfordshire every room told a story and this image taken from the lounge looking out of a stunning bow window had all the right conditions to make this one of my favourites of the set I took that dayTime
around mid morning with the sun still fairly low in the sky gave me the backlight I required and one of the first images of the dayLighting
Lighting is natural backlit by the sun with a reflector lighting up our image no flash or artificial lightingEquipment
This was shot with my Canon 5D either the mk3 or 4 I was using the 85mm on one and the 50mm on the other being within a property the room was tight so the 50mm just gave me enough room to get the full imageInspiration
Many images I had seen on here and elsewhere gave me the idea but I have to admit this far outreached my expectations the conditions model, location worked in perfect harmony absolutely stunning if I do say so myselfEditing
yes with so much backlit and no artificial lighting involved I did have to bring up the shadows in lightroom and also soften our models skin as I find the camera's of today pick out too much detailIn my camera bag
I will normally carry two camera's but have a idea of what I want from my image both camera's will have slightly different lenses but very similar in their style like this shoot the 85mm for cropped mid/ head portrait shots and the 50mm to get full body shots but with good detail and large aperture's due to the lack of natural light. I also don't want to be changing lenses over and overFeedback
have the image you want to capture in your mind take your time to look at your model the light where it is falling on your model experiment and I add again don't rush take your time get to know your model, she will know the best shots that suits her, so work together stand back check the images you are capturing and watch where your focus is aimed have fun
