Location
This photo was taken at Brooklyn Bridge Park from the boardwalk near Janes Carousel.Time
We were at a photo walk with a group of friends and it was about 6 pm during sunset.Lighting
This is completely natural light. Nothing beats mother nature on lighting.Equipment
If I'm not mistaken, I was using my Fuji X-E1 with its 18-55mm . I do remember That I did not used a tripod, because I rested my camera on the rails of the boardwalk trying to get the best leading lines possible.Inspiration
The main reason was the majestic Bridge and how it looked with this beautiful sunset as a background.Editing
This was taken and processed a long time ago, but as you can see here nature did most of the processing on this photo. Other than some contrast, color and a little vignetting. There was very little that I needed to do.In my camera bag
Honestly I am not as busy with photography as I used to be. However I still have all my Canon and Fuji equipment with me. One of the main reasons I switched from Canon to Fuji was because of the weight of the equipment that I was accumulating and carrying. Now most days I'll go out with my Fuji X-E1, a couple of lenses and a small tripod. But as I said before, lately I only use what I carry with me my phone camera.Feedback
The best advice is to always be ready. Whether you have a great camera, or just your phone. As you develop your eyes for photography opportunities will come and you better be ready to capture them.
