Location
Photo was taken on Marcch 26th of this year at Wilson Point Park in Middle River, Maryland. The neighborhood was having a Easter Egg Hunt and Party.Time
Around 12 noon right after the kids were done hunting all the eggs and now wanted to play in the playgroundLighting
The lighting in this photo is totally natural with nothing added except for the beautiful sunny day!Equipment
This photo was taken with a Cannon EOS Rebel T5 with a Sigma 18-250 mm Lens, with an ISO of 100, f-stop F/7.1, exposure 1/320 sec. Focal length is 128 mm. It was taken in RAW format.Inspiration
I was taking the photos for the egg hunt and afterwards was walking around watching all the children playing and snapped a few shot. This one little girl was having such a good time playing and was just so innocent and happy looking around at the sliding board and the sun was just perfect on her, it lit her up well, but wasn't in her face, so I took the shot.Editing
Right now I am perfecting my skill in SOOC with little or no changes, except for contrast and cropping. I feel manipulation is fine but I should know how to take a good photo first. Once I am skilled in taking the best photos in camera, I will then endeavor to learn how to manipulate my photos through software that will compliment my original photos. I use Cannon Photo Professional software to do any converting to .jpg, contrast and/or cropping and Picasa to add my watermark because Cannon won't do this like I want.In my camera bag
I usually have my Cannon T5 with the Sigma 18-250 lens but I also have Cannon 18-55 mm and Cannon 75-300 mm lenses along with various magnifying, graduated color and ND lenses, extra batteries, remote, tripod and cleaning supplies.Feedback
Just look around at children playing, don't interfere, don't tell them to look at you, just watch and so many opportunities will come your way. Be careful of sun in their eyes, you want them to be all wide eyed.
