Great shot. Is this the Sadhu that lives on the street that leads to the Ghat ? He rides a pushbike and lives with his monkey. He is a lovely man and great to talk with.

Location
I took this photo at Assi Ghat, Varanasi during one of my trips across India.Time
That photo was taken around noon.Lighting
That was a moody kind of a day, with no sun in the sky. So that made it perfect to make portraits outdoors.Equipment
This was shot with Canon EOS 5D Mark III + Canon EF 135mm f/2.0 L USM.Inspiration
I was walking around the streets of Varanasi - perhaps, one of the most beautiful cities in the world for me and one of the oldest. When I've been coming across the Assi Ghat, I saw this man with his monkey. I was pretty impressed by the way they were acting together. They were completely like family - a total complement of each other.Editing
This shot required some color processing to make it look the way I wanted it to be.In my camera bag
I always all the equipment with me6 because during traveling it's often impossible to leave something in your room - never know what you'll want to capture! So I usually use Canon EOS 5D Mark III body and the following lenses (all Canon): 135mm, 24 -70mm, 14 mm and 15 mm, 70-200 mm.Feedback
Every place, every small and big town on Earth has it's special characters - so just step outside and spend some time walking around. You'll definitely find something or someone you have to capture.
