Location
This photo was taken in the garden of a friend of mine. It was raining the whole day and in the afternoon it stopped and the sun came out.Time
I am not quite sure, but I remember that it was in the afternoon of a summer day 2013.Lighting
After the rain the sun came out and it was really a wonderful atmosphere this day.Equipment
I took this photo with my Canon EOS 550D and the Canon EF 100mm/1:2,8 USM Macro - no tripod, no flash.Inspiration
I just felt like going out after the rain and enjoy the last hours of the day in the sun. I was looking around and found this flower ... or better said; I found these 3 drops which were so perfectly positioned like if it was a gift from nature. :)Editing
Well, in this case I did not do too much - just a bit color correction and some adjustments (exposure, clarity, ...). I used Lightroom and Photoshop for this one.In my camera bag
Normally I fill my backpack with a Canon 70D and a Canon 6D (I am a lazy guy and with two cameras I do not have to switch the lenses that often anymore) and several lenses (and yes, I just love prime lenses): Canon EF 100mm/1:2,8 USM Macro Canon EF 85mm/ 1,8/ USM Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II Canon EF 24-105mm 1:4,0 L IS USM Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Canon EF-S 18-55mm 1:3,5-5,6 IS STM Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Usually I have a GorillaPod with me and sometimes I also take a very simple tripod from AmazonBasics with me. Normally I also have a Canon Speedlite 430EX II with me, but I really do not use it that often - as I said, I am a lazy guy and besides that I just prefer natural light. Sometimes I also take a battery grip from xcsource with me - this depends on what I am shooting and which backpack I use this day; I have a small one from deviantart which only has space for one camera and 3 lenses. If I decide to take this one, I normally also use the battery grip to save some space.Feedback
I just can say this: Let your cam capture what your eyes see. The challenge is to take a photo that shows the things you see the way you feel and experience them.
