Location
I was in downtown Tacoma on the glass skybridge between the state history museum which I have pictures of on here, union station which is an old train station and now the federal court house which I also have pictures of and the museum of glass. Was look east towards the dome and saw the storm coming in so decided to take a quick couple shots of it before it hit. I am mainly self taught but took a few classes at community college.Time
I believe if I remember right since it has been a few years..it was around 4 or 5 pm ion the afternoon on a sunday. I was heading home and saw the storm and had to stop and take the pic.Lighting
Everything in the pic is natural escept the grass. When I shot the pic the grass wasn't very green so I touched it up everything else is the way it actually was.Equipment
I rarely use a tripod.. I believe I used my old canon dslr that I don't have any more.Inspiration
I like weather shots and when I saw the storm approaching and I was on a skybridge was thinking quickly lets get these pics and get back home before it hits so I did and then we got massively drenched.Editing
Yes I made the grass greener that is it.. I don't like doing much to photos. All natural is the best to me.In my camera bag
Normally spare battery, camera, 150 mm lens that is about it. As I am still learning this wonderful art form called photographyFeedback
Well difficult with weather.. If you see the shot you want take it. Always have a camera with you even if camera phone since u can always touch up those photos. With weather especially in this case you have to have patience as we don't get many storms up here. We get rain yes but not many storms like the one in the photo became.
