I took this shot on a beach near Lamai on Koh Samui Thailand where i liveTime
This was early morning sunrise about 6 amLighting
This morning the light was perfect so regarding camera settings i just took the shot and used minimal editingEquipment
The shot was taken with my 6D Canon and i used a 16-35 mm Canon lens with a tripodInspiration
This was just one of those mornings where the light, clouds and reflections were just all coming together with a calm sea. I saw the fishing boat sat on its own with the reflection and took the shot while i could.Editing
Yes sometimes i will use Photo Shop but most of the time i will run Light room just to straighten and bring out the detailIn my camera bag
I have 4 x Canon Cameras, 1 DX, 6 D, 650 D and a G 16 pro from Canon. Lenses i use are 16-35 mm, 70-200 mm, 100 mm macro, 24-70 mm and 8-15 mm fisheyeFeedback
I think give yourself lots of time to set up prior to the chosen spot.I tend to keep shooting every 3-5 minutes as the light changes so quickly through sunrise. I always wait at least 30 minutes after the sunrise as there are still great shots and colours as the sun climbs
