Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in Athens, at the new Olympic Stadium

Time

I took the subway to the Stadium from Omonia Station. It was about noon and the area was almost deserted, only a few people here and there. In the Olympic area there are many other impressive buildings designed by Calatrava.

Lighting

The sun at noon was not helping much, but I was able to obtain these pics with geometrical shadows available only at this time of the day.

Equipment

I used my Nikon Z ^ with the kit 24-70mm f4 lens

Inspiration

I do like to take picture of architectural designs and I was very eager to meet some of Calatrava's creations.

Editing

I have processed the picture with Silver Efex

In my camera bag

Lately I use more often my Leica Q, with an ND filter attached. I still own the Nikon Z 6 and the 24-70mm f4, as well as manual 35mm f1.2 Voigtlander (with an adaptor) and a 50mm f1.8 S

Feedback

Follow the light, try to use the light and the shadows as the main subject in your picture
