Behind The Lens
Location
It was about 3 weeks ago as we were leaving Joshua Tree National Park in California.Time
In the late afternoon, the Sun already disappeard behind the mountains.Lighting
I actually thought I missed the point where the light was good. I couple minutes earlier and the Valley down there was way more lit by the sun. But I think it's still ok.Equipment
For this one I used my Sony a6000 with the Sony 70-200mm f/4 - I reallly like this extremly lightweight combo. I never change the lens on that camera. It's always ready to grab and shoot.Inspiration
I was shooting some cactus there and as we were about to move on, I took some shots of the street. At almost every spot there was this pretty girl taking some photos as well. It is her car. While I was shooting that corner she was passing by and I captured her in the car. I never spoke to her and I thought it's a special way to say "good bye Miss unknown".Editing
Yes, it went through my normal editing worklflow in Lightroom and photoshop. But nothing special. In my camera bag
The Sony A7RII with the Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 , the Sony A6000 with the 70-200 f/4 mounted. For nightshots I just switched my Samyang 14mm with the LAOWA 15mm f/2 Zero D - an Amazing Lens! And there is also the Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 in my bag. Oh and I also carry a dji Mavic Pro around.Feedback
