Location
The photo was taken in North Poland, in the middle of forest near Gi?ycko.Time
Few minutes after the sun went down.Lighting
I wanted to make this picture a little bit mysterious, fog made the light very soft, so I added just face little soft fill.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 7D with Canon f1.4 50mm lens.Inspiration
I was thinking of shooting this girl for long time. Last day of our camp I saw fog surrounding our base. I've just grabbed my camera and called her. It was getting dark and Anette came up with idea of lighting with matches. Totally without thinking I grabbed camera and took picture.Editing
NopeIn my camera bag
Canon 7D and analog Canon 500n are both firt things which I put to my bag, then I choose lenses. For shooting portraits I choose 35mm and 50mm lenses because I prefer wide angle for portraits - it gives more dynamic look and shows more surrounding than just face.Feedback
For catching fog I always wake up early and check out the weather. Search for it in valleys after dawn and befor dusk. It's the best way to shoot in natural very soft light.
