This photo was taken during a photo shoot, in Valletta Malta.Time
Photo taken around 12.30 am. I was a sunny day in March, good lighting as always in MaltaLighting
I love portraits , and love shooting close ups of faces. Important the eyes.Equipment
At that time for this shot I used Canon 300D. I love using long lenses to give space between photographer and model. Setting was f8 at 1/500 focal length 300. Now I am using Canon 6D with 100/400 lens.Inspiration
The big inspiration of this photo are the lovely eyes, even though one is hidden which gives it more impact .Editing
For this photo I just used photoshop for some levels , and crop a little. In my camera bag
I always carry with me, my Canon 6D , the lenses 24-105 and 100-400. Polarizing filter . A flash [ which I try not to use much] and the Manfrotto monopod for the long lens.Feedback
When you have a good subject , plan some poses before, take shoots from different angles . I also love taking photos during events. Be on the look out for good faces and special moments. When you go , do not just see around, but look around.
