Angel owned me for 14 years, After watching her every day hide within the comfy confines of the green blanket.I finally took an image.Angel had Arthritis and I have RA also. It is like we both had much in common and she never wanted me to leave her alone. After years of pain, I had to do the hardest thing a Human has to do with there best friend.I just lost my Father and Mother, and, to have to lose my best friend was the hardest Job this human EVER HAD TO DO. I miss you my friend. Yes Sweet heart, you are a beautiful friend.

I love this one. I love how her eyes match the blanket. I love cats and had a cat named Hey for 9 years and I still miss her.

I was a little angry and threatened too SUE "Bark and Park" in Hamilton Canada, but was to heart broken, and had to tend to my best friend, I built her a ramp to get on and off my Bed, wiped her c;lean 3 times a day, her behind, Terrible circumstance

Congratulations on being a finalist in the "Cats being Cats" photo contest! It certainly is a winning picture! The use of the blanket really helped accent her eyes. Nice job!!!

Poor Angel eyes.......what a terrible thing to happen to a beautiful cat. I'm glad you had her as an owner for so long.

So sorry to hear of angel passing away. I remember having to do the same with my cat and it's so so awful. A lovely photo of her to remember her by.

Wonderful image - love how the Cat's eyes match the blanket!!! I am glad that you have this beautiful image to remind you of your very dear friend. I know too well the agony of 'loss' of a parent - a 'best friend' like your cat - when we put our Hayley down in 2007 - I never thought I would get over it - now we have Abbey. My Mom was dying of Pancreatic Cancer, and I knew that I would need someone to hold before and after she was gone. Abbey was born in Dec. of 2010 and Mom passed on Good Friday of April 2011. Our animals Open our Hearts and WRITE THEIR NAMES ACROSS THEM - I am so thankful that we are able to communicate with these animals - they teach us so much, but when debilitating pain is making them suffer - we do have to do what 'tears our hearts out'. I am glad that you had the experience of having such a good friend for those 14 years. My sympathies for your losses so close together.
