Your image of the GM building is fantastic....better than mine. Gotta get back to Detroit (hopefully when it's not so cold) and work on improving my composition.

Location
In Detroit, Michigain. The Building is the GM Renaissance Center.Time
A very cold weekend in January 2014. I was working for a company in the Detroit area and the weekends were time to explore. It was so cold that winter (-40 celsius) that I had to hop inside to warm up between shots.Lighting
Cold winter light.Equipment
SONY NEX -7 with the kit 18-55. Nothing too fancy.Inspiration
A lot to see in Detroit. And this Iconic building had to be shot. The symmetry jumped right into my eyes so I decided to center it .Editing
Lightroom (or maybe still Aperture at the time). Three exposure HDR created in Photomatix and further bw enhancments in SIlverFX.In my camera bag
Then SONY NEX - 7 with kit lens. Nowadays Sony A7RII with 17-105 f4. And usually SONY Prime 55m f1,8. PEAK Design bags.Feedback
Look up. Bear the cold. Travel. Shoot as much as you can. Simplicity is the key.
