Just more proof that angels are real. This is a wonderful shot, I love the lighting and the depth of field is perfect in my opinion. WOW

Each of her photos is soooo different from the other, but in all of them, there is not fancy , flashy hair do, make up, or clothing to distract the viewer from the essential subject....the model, who, in this one, appears to be involved in a moment of contemplation. ....Of what we don't know. Fab lighting, pose and placeing. Excellent work to both model and photographer. Top marks!

Location
This photo was taken near a small water pond just outside my town.Time
It was noon, the sun position wasn't optimal but with the help of a cloudy sky there was a beautiful soft light.Lighting
Light was natural, no modifiers or flash used. Well, clouds are themselves light modifiers, as a matter of fact!Equipment
Only my camera (Nikon D800) with my beloved Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G. I rarely use something else in portrait nowadays.Inspiration
I did this shooting after a break from photography, which lasted a few weeks. I was very motivated to take beautiful captures with my friend Alona!Editing
I adjusted the light, a bit of dodge and burn here and there and I added the white gradient with vignetting. In my camera bag
It depends, I have 3 bags for all the occasions. When I travel light, which is most of the times, I usually take only my camera with the 85mm attached and a few batteries. For other particular occasions i could carry with me the 35mm f/1.4 with a speedlite flash.Feedback
Sometimes we think that when there is bad weather it's impossible to take beautiful captures. It's not true, a cloudy sky makes the sun light very beautiful and soft, rain itself gives a very special mood, let alone snow. Be sure to bring a waterproof coat for your camera though, just as a precaution.
