Absolutely gorgeous! The sky looks like an eye, even the eyelashes are defined :)

I really feel the tension here trying to sneak this one passed the clouds, and it really frames the Milky Way nicely! Nice capture - a deserving contest finalist - congrats!

Location
This Pano was taken in northern Sardinia (Italy), Capo Ferro.Time

I went to Capo Ferro to photograph the Milky Way over this beautiful lighthouse, but there was a looming storm, I had to hurry. I just had time to take a panoramic before the sky will fall on the whole. This pano shows how the Milky Way looks almost under siege by an arc of threatening clouds.Equipment
Eos 5d II + 14 mm f 2,8Inspiration
The gulf was fantastic. I was sure that this beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea would give me great satisfaction with the light and the right sky. It 'was precisely that.Editing
