Doral, FL at a dumpster dump. Where all dumpsters go to die.Time

The lighting on this shot is obviously the lightning and it scares me every time I do it. I'm like a baby that keep biting the lemon, I always chase storm for the sole purpose of catching lightning. It always ends up the same way... Me standing away from my magnesium and titanium tripod, usually in a crouched position. There are 2 sounds you will hear, the thunder from the storm and me farting from being so darn scared.Equipment
Canon 60D, Canon 17-40mm, Manfrotto tripod 055xInspiration
We love chasing storms in Miami. I have taken some of the most amazing shots. These shots are not for the weak at heart.Editing
All the touching up was on the lighting on the dumpstersIn my camera bag
Being a night photographer I will always have the following things in my bag. Canon 5D mark III, Flashlight, trigger for long exposures, bug spray, a shoelace (in case I forget my trigger), Sigma 20mm, Canon 24-105mm, Canon 50mm, Canon 17-40mm and last but not least my machete. Lots of gators in Florida.Feedback
Rubber boots and brass balls are the things needed to take these shots. Oh, and take as many shots as you can. You never know what shot you will get. I will usually end up with 20-30 shots per storm.
