Location
I took this photo in a local park near my house. It was a cold day so I didn't stay outside very long. I was pointing my camera and shooting at almost everything, nothing planned. Sometimes the best photos are spur of the moment.Time
I took this photo mid day because it was a weekend day so I slept in a bit.Lighting
I mostly use natural lighting, sometimes with a reflector to open the shadowed areas. I like to shoot in the morning or evening because the light during midday is to harsh unless it's cloudy.Equipment
I used a Canon 5d mark III. Hand held and no other equipment.Inspiration
As I said, I was shooting almost everything and when I went through the photos on my computer, this photo stood out from the rest.Editing
Yes, I work with Photoshop. Since it's beginning Photoshop has evolved into an excellent tool to turn an otherwise dull photo into a beautiful picture. In my camera bag
My Canon 5d Mark III and lens,, extra batteries, a mix of 3 filters, external flash, cleaning gear, small foldable reflector and a tripod.Feedback
Take alot of photos. The more you shoot the more you have to choose from. Study photography and study some more. I have been a photographer for 61 years and I am still learning.
