Hi, Is this shot by a mobile phone. If yes, its suitable for the Mobile Phone Food Photo Challenge. :-)

Sorry, no. It was taken on a Canon 7d with a 50mm lens

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on a happy occasion, a close friend birthday. Every year he has a BBQ and the humble sausage is one of the key items on the menu. They taste so so good cooked over the coals.

Time

It was around 1 o'clock in the afternoon and a very hot and sunny day

Lighting

There is nothing special about the lighting - just pure natural light.

Equipment

It was taken on a Canon 7d with a 50mm lens

Inspiration

The inspiration for this image - well the image says it all. Hopefully, you're now licking your lips and wanting to fire up that BBQ

Editing

There was minimal post-processing for this image.

In my camera bag

These days, as I mostly shoot street, it is a Sony A7 mk III with a Samyang 35mm f2.8. Small, light and relatively inconspicuous.
