Behind The Lens

Location

I grow different colors of lilies, irises and other flowers that are perennial and bloom at different times. Even the lilies bloom at different times so that I have color in the flower beds most of the year. So I enjoy the beauty of flower beds but also photographing them too. In fact the one of 1st phots I first photos I submitted was of my yellow lilies. I received peer awards, but after 2+ years I haven’t received any prizes, just badges.

Just a warm clear summer day.

Equipment

I took this with my iPhone 13 Pro. This next year I’m going to be taking pictures with my canon and see what happens with my photos.

Inspiration

As stated I grow these lilies and play with different angles and times of day.and will continue to do so with my new camera and assorted lenses.

Editing

I rarely do any post processing other than cropping

Besides my iPhone pro, I now have a canon t8i along with lenses from 55-800 capability.

Feedback

Just take as many pictures with different angles and lighting, then when you review keep the ones you love and discard the rest.
