Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the window light of my clients home during their newborn session .

Time

I used the afternoon light that filtered nicely in through their window

Lighting

I love using natural light . I find it more soft and flattering .

Equipment

I used my Sony camera with my 50mm prime lens

Inspiration

This session was for my dear friends who had their first child together and welcomed their first baby boy . They both have girls the same age from previous relationships and I knew how much the dad wanted a little boy so I wanted to capture his hard working daddy hands holding onto his sons fresh delicate hand, and the dad holding on to the future of his adventures with his firstborn son.

Editing

I just added a black and white edit and darkened the background to bring their hands to the forefront of the photo

Multiple lenses , two cameras and snacks! ;)

Feedback
