Beautiful.
You have given 2020 a positive swing that is really (nice) positive, a contribution to the Year 2020 Collection. As always, the competition will be tough, which, as an added consequence, makes the victory taste very sweet. Good luck and probably for the … time: Happy New Year and stay healthy in 2021!

I love to take photos or birds. At the time I took this shot, I did not realize what the outcome would be with the bird bright and background dark.Editing
I shoot in raw, so I do the typical post processing of levels and brightness. I also darkened the background to make the bird stand out even moreIn my camera bag
Currently I have a Canon R5, Canon 7D II, Canon 100-400L III, Canon 100-500L, 70-200 2.8L III, 70-300L, and assorted other L lensesFeedback
Sometimes you cannot predict the outcome when you take a shot. With white birds, you definitely have to make sure you meter on the bird using a spot meter, otherwise the bird will be washed out with a large loss of detail
