Location
This photo was taken on the battery overlooking the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco.Time
I wanted to do some night photos so I ventured out around 11:00pm to ensure I had good, dark sky.Lighting
Being a night shot I wanted to capture the bridge, while showing movement of the cars and city in the background. Had to be careful to not get too much light from the bridge the it over shadowed the details fo the city and water below.Equipment
Nikon D300s with a Tamron f2.8 24-70mm on a Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
Traveling for work allowed me to go places and see things my family couldn't always experience with me. This photo allowed me to share the beauty of San Francisco with my kids until we are able to go together.Editing
I try my best to shoot in camera what I want. Post processing was minimal with some small amount of white balance adjustment along with brightening the color a bit with increasing both the vibrancy and saturation, wrapping it off with some sharpening to being out the details. I used Adobe Lightroom for it all.In my camera bag

Have an idea, find a good spot and shoot, shoot, shoot and don't be afraid to experiment.
