Location
This photo was taken in Valensole, FranceTime
This was taken just after sunrise in early JulyLighting
I wanted to get the sun up so that the lavender was fully catching the early morning light.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Canon 16-35 L Series lens and a RRS 34-L Tripod with a RRS RH-55 BallheadInspiration
My inspiration for this was simply the fields of lavender that cover the Valensole Plateau in early JulyEditing
Very little post-processing in Lightroom with minor enhancements in the saturation and luminosity of the lavenderIn my camera bag
I carry all Canon for my bodies and lens (16-35, 24-105, 70-300) along with RRS Tripod and Ball Head and Breakthrough Photography filters.Feedback
I like to shoot the lavender down low to get the feeling of being in the rows. I usually look for a focal point, in this case the stone barn and make sure I have great light.
