I Took this photo in Victor Harbor, as I was walking half way on the causeway.Time
I took this photo it was taken on the 1st of Feb.. summer in Australia. taken at 8.30 or close to 9pm.. (daylight saving)Lighting
I love taking sunset or sunrise.. I was loving how the light from the sunset reflection on the high clouds.. the colour was so strong and stayed for so long to take lots of shots..Equipment
Canon 6d with 16-35mm lens, Suiri tripod, Nisi filters just Gnd soft 09Inspiration
I want to shoot the local popular area that lots of people come here for visit from oversea.. I want to shoot a postcard like or something to take home to remind them the lovely place they have visit and show the local around here this is a great photography photo to shoot. I have a love of seascape and sunset/sunrise.Editing
I did my processing in Lightroom. just adjusted the shadows and increase a bit of colour.. I used the grad filters from the bottom to lift half way to increase the clarity and ensure the colours looks natural. In my camera bag
In my bag, I have my Canon 6d, all my Nisi filters.. now I have Kase Filters. Lens cleaner and rag. 24-105mm lens, 16-35mm ( I used mostly) batteries.. remote control for camera. and my sirui tripodFeedback
I have found using a website.. Called Cloud Free Night. this shows me the clouds are doing.. I look for the high clouds.. as high clouds brings more colour in the sky and last longer. I have been following Thomas Heaton on youtube.. he has explain the reason to get some great shots. I look at weather apps, check for the wind.. hope for a calm weather, not blowing gale wind, as in Victor Harbor can be very windy. I do have a Raincoat on my camera and lens, as the salt of the seaspray isn't good for the equipments. Alway wipe it down when I get home and same goes for the my tripod.
