I took this photo not far from my home.. this a sunrise shot at Petrel Cove in Encounter bay on the Fleurieu Peninsula in south AustraliaTime
This taken at sunrise.. probably about 6am or earlierLighting
I wanted to catch the sun peeking behind the bluff and high tide for the rushing blow hole of the waves crashing in. I always like to head out when there high clouds..I love the colours it brings..pink, purple and blueEquipment
I used Canon 6d with 16-35mm lens with kase cpl for cutting the glare on rocks and water and with sky -.9 gnd filter Tripod was used for this shotInspiration
I wanted a new spot to shoot..it was dangerous to be..one slip..down for a drink. So I took my time and no rushing..Editing
I post process this in lightroom. To bring up the shadow and darks. Used colour grading to bring out the colours in sky. Gnd filter for sky.In my camera bag
I always have my camera with my 16-35mm.. kase filters. Lens cloth for sea spray . I have waterproof camera cover for my camera body as I don't want sea spray on my camera body or lens. Batteries. Sometimes I will bring my 70-200mm tamron lensFeedback
Enjoy the moment out there.. I find it's a mediation for me..
