Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my own before I had any sort of Studio equipment. I had my wife bend over a stool in the shower so that I had maximum reflected light.

Time

During midday with a skylight overhead in the bathroom.

Lighting

No artificial light was used.

Equipment

Nikon D500 and Nikor 35mm F1.8

Inspiration

I was wanting a photo with heavy contrast and somewhat provocative.

Editing

Very little post processing was done. Obviously a BnW conversion and a bit of a curves adjustment.

In my camera bag

I always have my camera with me. Nikon D500, Tamron 70-200 F2.8 and Sigma Art 35mm 1.4.

Feedback

Trial and error is your friend. Subtle movements make a huge difference.
