Location
This photo was taken just out side of St. Thomas, Ontario. After some exploring of the area my friends and I found this trestle and took a few photos with it.Time
This would have been taken around 4 pm sometime mid May in 2017.Lighting
This shot I was more focused on the composition, rather than the lighting as I had no control other than camera settings.Equipment
This was shot on my 60D with a Rokinon 50 mm Lens I believe. As this shot is older I don't remember all the detailsInspiration
I wasn't exactly inspired as I was bored. When I'm bored I usually ask a friend to hang out and take pictures with me. So we went for a walk and I creep being to snap the cool shots.Editing
I must have done a little bit. I would have used Photoshop's camera raw editor, and I'm guessing I played with the contrast and saturation a wee bit. I also cropped it to 16x9 I believe. In my camera bag
The time this photo was taken to now my equiptment has vastly changed so I'll give you a then and now type thing. Then I was running a Canon 60D with its kit lens and a Rokinon 50mm lens. I would have had a 430 ex ii with me and that would have been it. Since then I've substantially added to my set up. Now I'm running with a few bodies, my main being my 5D mk iv, and my ELAN II, occasionally I'll use my Nikon FE. The nice thing with my set up is the ELAN ii is also an EF mount so I use the same glass on both it as well as my 5D. My photo set up is usually my 24mm 1.4 (my absolute favorite lens, and the one I use the most), my 85mm 1.4, and my 70-200. I really dig my primes, I bought a few more Rokinon cine lenses for my video work. Typically ill carry around a flash or two and if i have an assistant I'll back a bounce or two.Feedback
Nothing special was done for this. Only thing I could say is go out and take pictures.
