My first attempt at astrophotography. Site: Floyd State Park in Georgia. Used a Sony NEX-7 on a tripod with a Zeiss 24 mm prime lens at f 1.8. Shot at ISO200 for 48 seconds. Processed the raw file in Adobe Lightroom.

It doesn't have that Milky Way look like so many photos I've enjoyed on ViewBug, but it does come close to capturing what I saw that night. The stars appeared so much brighter than they do where I live (Huntsville, Alabama).
