Behind The Lens

Location

Several times a year I teach photographers. This photo was taken on a studio session in my photography school for beginners.

Time

Julia I photographed in December 2013. The exact time is difficult to remember, but I think that it was evening. Since my students are working during the day.

Lighting

You can see on the glare in his eyes, I used the portrait plate of cells to create a black and white drawing. It used a single light source.

Equipment

This was shoot on a Canon 5D mk3, with an 135mm f/2.0 lens.

Inspiration

In addition, our model is very beautiful, I like the composition. Natural frame distinguishes our main object of shooting. I like daydreaming model. And nice deep shades of red. Looking at this picture, it seems that drinking a glass of good wine.

Editing

My fashion model Julia has perfect skin, so the skin processing in Photoshop I almost worked. However, it was necessary to correct makeup. Lip Contour, lengthen eyelashes ... The final stage was the color correction.

In my camera bag

If I go into the studio to do a portrait shot, then I take a two lens - 135 mm and 50 mm. A second take on the safe side, though my favorite portrait lens - 135mm.

Feedback

Excellent advice given to me for a long time. "Think not to shoot, but before taking a picture." Think over the little things, to draw the images in my head. If your photo is possible to describe a variety of adjectives, so it is worth keeping in the portfolio. I wish you all the inspiration!
