This photo was taken in downtown "Old" Albuquerque, NM in 2007 while visiting friends. While walking around looking at the buildings ands store fronts, came upon this door. It just had too much character not to take the shot...with all the locks, and aged paint. It had nice detail, thinking it must of been a nice doorway at one time.Time

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", When on a trip, I have my camera, but look through my eyes first, then if I see something that strikes me as a good "subject" then I look through the lens... I find that you miss too much if you are always looking for the "perfect shot" and not also enjoying the experience. So, in this example, The door caught my eye, after enjoying it, I then studied it for a shot. Sometimes it s a matter of opportunity, sometimes you can go out for the shot.
